Julie Vazquez Nunis (She/Her)
Julie Nunis is a multifaceted powerhouse whose skills dominate both in front of and behind the camera. A graduate from the University of Texas at Austin and alumnus of The Actor’s Center of New York, Nunis made the move to Los Angeles in 1990, knowing that entertainment was her true calling. Through her relentless work ethic, she has landed appearances in films and television series including Mumford, Junior, Melrose Place, and NYPD Blue. She has also been directed by and worked alongside the incomparable Lawrence Kasdan and Ivan Reitman.
Behind the camera, she directed the documentary short film, Jass v. Punk: Hermosa Beach, winner of the 2021 Florana Film Festival and IMPACT Docs Award of Recognition. She credits her experience as an assistant to Broadway producer Joan Stein as one of the main building blocks of her entertainment career.
