Jerry Kernion (He/Him)
Jerry Kernion is an award-winning actor, director, writer, and producer whose incomparable skillset has landed him over 70 film and television appearances. After graduating with a BFA in Acting from Ohio University, Kernion continued studying in New York before making the move to Los Angeles, where he graduated from the Lincoln Center Theatre’s Directors Lab West; he also graduated from the summer program at The Royal National Theatre in London.
Kernion’s expansive television and film appearances include recurring and guest starring roles on NCIS, Rebel, American Sports Story, FBI, Chicago Fire, Mad Men, The Good Fight, The Blacklist, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Grey’s Anatomy. On the big screen, Kernion leant his voice to Mr. Henry Fenner in Disney’s 2009 hit The Princess and the Frog before playing the lovable barfly Hutch in the award-winning indie film Last Call at Murray’s. He also recently appeared in the Netflix film Players alongside Gina Rodriguez.
Beyond screen mediums, Kernion has appeared in several stage productions, including Robert Grove in The Play That Goes Wrong at The New Theatre in Kansas City; Officer Krupke in West Side Story at The Lyric Opera Chicago; and two shows as a lead clown with Cirque du Soleil.
As a director, writer, and producer, Kernion has directed and producer commercials, films, theatre productions, and live-to-tape multi-camera performances. His original short Speed Relationship-ing won the Grand Jury Award at the 2008 Dances With Films Festival. He is also a two-time Los Angeles Ovation Award nominee for his work at The Garry Marshall Theatre in Los Angeles.
Kernion’s most recent credits include upcoming supporting roles in Echo Valley with Julianne Moore and The Instigators with Matt Damon and Casey Affleck.
