Brimstone (He/Him)
Brimstone has had a career spanning well over four decades; including professional wrestler, radio host/professional podcaster, actor, voice actor, author, musician, philanthropist, food critic, horror model, and comic book/animated/children’s book/video game hero. He’s been called a renaissance man by many but more accurately described as a well-seasoned entertainer, celebrity personality, and serial entertainment entrepreneur.
Brimstone has been SAG-AFTRA since 1980. As a child actor, he made appearances on Sesame Street and Romper Room. Later, his wrestling career landed him televised appearances including WWF Superstars, MTV’s TRL, and The Ricki Lake Show. He’s appeared in co-starring roles on Showtime series Billions and HBO’s And Just Like That. He also made a special guest appearance on an episode of Amazon Prime’s Dark Echoes Paranormal series and was a featured guest on multiple episodes of Barbecue Country on The Country Network. He was featured in documentaries Wrestling Then & Now (Amazon Prime) and Standing in the Stars: The Peter Mayhew Story as well as cameos in music videos, most notably “Touch & Go” by rapper Joe Budden. He played the killer in the 2010 horror film, Killer Hoo-Ha! as well as roles in independent films like, Preacher Six, Mott Haven: Cash for Keys (Amazon Prime), Director’s Cut (Amazon Prime), Bloodline, The Roadhouse (2009), Seymour the Unfortunate Vampire (Amazon Prime) and can be seen making cameos for Troma Entertainment, including Shakespeare’s Sh!tstorm in 2019.
Video game voiceover credits include Seduce Me 2: The Demon War, Sorim Story: Race World, Viking Vengeance, Forza Infernis, Wasteland Wars, Rose & Locket, Cookie Cutter, and Finger Gun. He can also be heard in a variety of animated series: The Weeklings, eLL Cartoons, God’s School, Donut Baby, Go Go Gonzi, and Brush Brigade. He can be heard on radio ads for Kikkoman Corporation, Mane ‘N Tail, Boss Hoss Cycles, Red Roof Inn, Jersey Mikes, and Ben & Jerry’s; and he has been credited with background vocals on guitarist Bumblefoot’s 2015 release, “Little Brother is Watching.”
As the co-founder, President, and CEO of Hound Comics, Inc. (Hound Entertainment Group), Brimstone launched his comic book series, Brimstone and The Borderhounds, in 2010. The brand has since expanded into a wide range of Brimstone-branded products, including the “Border-Pups” children’s books, coloring books, video games, plush toys, and vinyl toys which along with his original backpack line, with products being featured on multiple seasons of The Big Bang Theory. Brimstone is also involved in licensing and partnerships, such as with Eastsport Backpacks for Brimstone-branded merchandise sold on Walmart’s website. Brimstone has been featured in Wall Street Journal best-sellers The Bra Book and Worth Every Penny, as well as My Favorite Giant by the legendary Peter ‘Chewbacca’ Mayhew. His former series, Food Hound: Tidbits has resulted in several restaurants nationwide adding Brimstone-branded menu items. As an avid philanthropist, he is notably a celebrity spokesperson for The Stan Lee Foundation. In 2015, he partnered with the Empire Saber Guild (an official Lucasfilm Star Wars costuming group) to create a charity trading card for St. Mary’s, depicting him as a Sith Lord.
Brimstone is the host of The Grindhouse Radio on iHeartRadio, a pop culture talk-based podcast series that is syndicated on over thirty digital and terrestrial radio networks, boasting a listenership of between 3.5 to 4 million weekly worldwide. The Grindhouse Radio has achieved significant recognition, ranking in the Top 10 Best Comedic Podcasts worldwide on iTunes and #83 in their overall charts. He also hosts The Dirty Little Secrets Club, which maintains a ranking in the European and Canadian charts. Brimstone was listed at #2 in Podcast Magazine’s 2022 – 40 Over 40 most influential podcasters. In business, he’s been featured in numerous publications, including Entrepreneur and Newsday. He frequently appears as an expert speaker at libraries, schools, the Freelancer’s Union, and universities teaching aspiring podcasters the art of podcasting. Brimstone is endorsed by Beyerdynamic and ZOOM North America.
Brimstone has also hosted, judged, and moderated panels at various pop culture conventions and foodie events, including NYC Hot Sauce Expo, Famous Food Festivals, Pig Island NYC, Brisket King NYC, Rib King NYC, Syndicate Smokedown, Long Island Wing Festival, King of the Wing, and the Annual Meatball Madness competition. Additionally, he hosted the ultra-hot pepper eating contest for Maxim Magazine at Zest Fest Midwest.
Other notable accomplishments include: a 2008 Award from the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame; a 2014 Rule Breaker Award for Best Manufacturer with revenue under $1M for Hound Comics, Inc.; ‘Best Long Island Personality 2018 & 2019’; ‘Best Twitter Account from Long Island 2018 & 2019’; The Grindhouse Radio being voted and awarded, ‘Best Radio Station on Long Island 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020’ in the Annual Best of Long Island Awards, ‘Best Recording Studio on Long Island’ 2022, and a ‘Best Streaming Radio Station on Long Island’ 2024.
